Update/Format the OS using USB

If u wan 2 install windows XP, but ur notebook or PC has no CD-ROM, u can install windows XP using pen drive/thumb drive


Step1: Download this software pack komku-SP-usb.exe, its nearly 1.47MB
This pack is having 3 application
-Bootsect.exe

-PeToUSB

-USB_prep8



Step2:Double click on komku-SP-usb.exe

Step3:Insert flash drive
when i made this totorial i was using 2 GB pendrive

Step 4:After u clicked, one small window will appear
-> Destination Drive -USB removable
-> Check on enable disk format, quick format
-> give drive lable whatever u wan.






















Step5:click on continue, after that give the specified path in the command prompt
eg: c:\komku\bootsec\ nt52 H:
'H' is the removable drive name

Step6: Do the same process for another application in komku software
i.e.; c:\komku\usb_prep8
after that welcome screen will appear











Step 7: Automatically some services and processes will be terminated.
we can see this in the command prmpt only.
then select the path of windows xp set up file.
